Standings
That was normal for Talquin. Saturday, reports called for good catches. Possibly a 20 lb stringer.
But wait, mother nature must be a baseball player, because she threw us a curveball.

As usual a couple of Gnats did find some fish. Coming in at the top of the pack was Andy Koundourakis with a total catch of 9.06 lb. Andy did have one 18"+ fish that vaulted him to the winners circle.

Coming in second, and the only limit of the tournament, was Chris Neely with a total catch of 8.57 lb. Chris did not have one of those all important 18" fish. Ya feeling a little denied?

Rounding out the top three was Wes Floyd with four fish weighing 8.31 lb. Eventually, this guy is going to win one.

All of our anglers were using multiple techniques in multiple areas. There did not seem to much if a consistency in the techniques used.

Hopefully mother nature will stay home during May. I will give you an update after tonights meeting.
